Every year Amsterdam welcomes over one million visitors who are particularly interested in the fascinating diamond craftsmanship. The Gassan Group is the combination of the leading diamond-polishing factories in Amsterdam.

AMSTERDAM - It was an excellent year for Gassan Diamonds with again a record number of visitors. In 2013, the historical diamond attracted more than 400,000 visitors from around the world.

The diamond factory in the capital exceeded the record number of visitors on 23 December and expect even more than 400,000 visitors this year. Compared to last year, this represents an increase of 6 percent, a milestone in the history of Gassan and a great achievement, especially given the current economic conditions. Obtaining the record is celebrated in the presence of an incoming group through the popular red Touristbus of Tours and Tickets. This company has transported almost  135,000 people to Gassan Diamonds in 2013.

The top five in terms of sales comes from China, Russia, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand. France, United States of America, Germany, Great-Britain and Spain are the top 5 in terms of number of visitors to the family business Gassan.

The success is mainly due to a good combination and active cooperation in the tourism industry as well as the launch of its own patented diamond cut the Gassan 121, Gassan Watch collection and innovative jewelry brand Choices by DL. Gassan Diamonds is engaged in the promotion of Amsterdam as a city trip and popular shopping destination for many years and is very proud of this positive result.
